I appreciate the thoughtfulness in the product and the way it's presented. I chose Persephone, Nyx, and Hekate for my discovery set, Persephone is my favorite!
The colored glitter isn't visible on the skin and the fragrance is rather light. I like to layer it with other fragrances for daytime use. (they're not long lasting fragrances) I've also added it to my night time routine since it's light enough to wear to bed. I would purchase these products again.
loved them all!! they smell so good, and compliment my natural scent very well!!
I love love the smell and the colors each one has.
So I loved the descriptions of the scents that I ordered (Artemis, Hecate, and Persephone). I also thought they looked beautiful and iridescent. However, I wasn't expecting the colors to be so obvious on my skin. The reds and greens made very obvious color changes and sat on top of my skin. I had hoped they would be more wearable on bare skin.
I also thought I would enjoy Hecate and Persephone more but there were some sour fruit notes that I didn't want. The pomegranate smelled more like skin-care-level cold-pressed pomegranate oils rather than the fruity perfumes I hoped for. I wouldn't use this much shimmer in an actual skin care oil though. For all oils, I tried to wear in more discrete hot spots like behind my ears. But the glitter clogged my pores and gave me pimples there.
Overall, it seems like a lot of thought went into the aesthetics of the oils and trying to be purposeful with ingredients; accurate to the diety they are named for. Artemis had the most wearable scent but again there was a lot of obvious green color and glitter problem when I put it on.
I can see the vision of the creator(s) and I wanted to fall in love with the products. But they seemed a bit off because of certain ingredients, color effects, and glitter problems. Ultimately this made me feel like the creators lacked experience in the cosmetic/beauty industry (not a slam just an observation) and that the products were a bit gimmicky. I don't think the execution came out the way it was intended.
